Corsair introduces the new MP600 PRO XT PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD to the market on 9th September, which is an upgraded version of the MP600 PRO released in early 2021. The new drive is advertised to break the 1 million mark in IOPS for random operations.
The MP600 PRO XT is available in 1 TB, 2 TB and 4 TB for storage capacity. The SSD is equipped with the Phison PS5018-E18 memory controller and the latest 176-Layer B47R 3D TLC NAND flash from Microns. Combined with the PCIe 4.0×4 interface and NVMe Protocol 1.4, it is able to reach maximum sequential read/write speeds at 7100 MB/s and 6800 MB/s. It can also achieve up to 1,000,000 IOPS and 1,200,000 IOPS for random read/write at queue depth 32. The 1 TB model gets slightly inferior performance.
The MP600 PRO XT is provided with a 5-year warranty. The drive has a rated MTBF of 1.6 million hours and write endurance from 700 TBW to 3000 TBW. The 1 TB version is priced at $199.99 USD, $399.99 USD for 2 TB and $989.99 USD for 4 TB (MSRP). They are immediately available for purchase in your local/online retailers.
