Back in Computex 2019, Corsair was one of the first manufacturers to announce its upcoming PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD. With increased bandwidth from the PCIe 4.0 interface, the MP600 will be able to achieve sequential read/write speeds at 4950 MB/s and 4250 MB/s respectively. Now, the SSD is expected to release in early July.
The MP600 is equipped with the latest Phison PS5016-E16 controller and 3D TLC NAND flash. Only two capacities are available, 1 TB and 2 TB. The SSD is now listed for pre-order on Amazon’s website in several countries, but each has a slightly different release date. Amazon UK says it will be released on 7 July, while Amazon Japan on 5 July.
For pricing, the 1 TB MP600 costs $249.99 USD (MSRP) and the 2 TB model at $449.99 USD (MSRP). You can now pre-order the SSD on Amazon US, which is shipped from and sold by Amazon directly.
Updated: The MP600 SSD is also listed on Newegg US with the same prices for the 1 TB and 2 TB models.
