After the announcement in Computex 2019, AMD does not seem to stop at offering up to 12 cores and 24 threads for the 3rd generation Ryzen processors. They have decided to push it further by unveiling the 16-core Ryzen 9 3950X CPU in E3 2019.
Identical to other 3rd gen Ryzen processor, the Ryzen 9 3950X is using the new Zen 2 micro-architecture on the 7 nm process, which is expected to have 15% better IPC than Zen+.
