Screen Capture from Intel |
Earlier in November 2017, Intel announced its partnership with AMD to create a new Core-H series processors for high-end notebooks. Not much information about the chips’ actual specifications is provided. All we know was each chip will consist of an Intel-made CPU and an AMD-made internal GPU.
From Intel:
Intel Core i7-8809G Processor, 3.1 GHz, 8 MB, 4/8, 100W Target Package TDP, Two channels DDR4-2400, Radeon RX Vega M GH Graphics, Intel® HD Graphics 630
Finally, Intel has posted one of the processor, i7-8809G, on the official website, showing some of its specifications. It was posted on the “Unlocked Intel Processors” listing, along with other mainstream or HEDT CPUs (e.g. i7-8700K and i9-7980XE).
The i7-8809G is said to be clocked at 3.1 GHz, with 4 cores and 8 threads. It will have 8MB of cache and support for dual channel DDR4-2400 RAM. For some reasons, it will have both the Radeon RX Vega M GH Graphics and Intel HD Graphics 630 internally. The overall package TDP is targeted at 100W.
There will be two more models of processors in the lineup, the i7-8705G and i7-8706G, which should be slightly less powerful than the i7-8809G. However, there is no further information on the actual difference from Intel. You can check out the CPU listing from Intel.

I think that this is the most iconic duo in all PC industry so far! My friend has PC with the same hardware and he said that all games works just amazing! Only one trouble that he had is that he couldt found good drivers for his video card, so I advised him this service with ATI Drivers Download http://driverscenter.com/manufacturers/ati and now everything is great with his PC.
Combining both strength from each side, Intel for CPU and AMD/Radeon for GPU!
